2006-2007 work
parties

Work parties are fun, as well as being vital for the management of the fens! As
well as being a good way to get fit and de-stress at weekends, volunteering
for work parties makes a huge and direct contribution towards the restoration
of the sites that we manage. Better still, we are able to count volunteer
labour at work parties as a financial contribution towards match-funding
our Heritage Lottery Grant. Last winter, volunteer labour on the Frith
and Lows contributed over £1000 of match funding.
