Geology and Landscape of the Little Ouse Headwaters

Over the last five years Professor Richard West FRS, has undertaken a detailed field study of the geomorphology of the Little Ouse and Waveney Valleys. These valleys have many atypical and anomalous features that have puzzled geologists for hundreds of years. Professors West's study has resulted in an elegant, coherent and ground-breaking theory that explains their origins.

The theory is explained in the attached pdf file: this contains the illustrated text of the LOHP's 2006 annual lecture, delivered by Professor West.
